On Friday, March 20, 2026, the Università di Brescia will participate in the 18th edition of UniStem Day, the international scientific outreach initiative dedicated to stem cells and biomedical research, which involves thousands of high school students every year.
The 2026 edition, entitled “Free to Choose,” symbolically marks UniStem Day's coming of age and is aimed particularly at young people who are facing their first major personal and educational choices. Through scientific presentations, testimonials, and interactive activities, the day aims to emphasize the value of freedom of choice as a fundamental prerequisite for individual growth and the scientific method.
The event will be held in the “Augusto Preti” Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Medicine and is organized by the Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine of the Università di Brescia, with the involvement of professors and researchers engaged in various fields of biomedical research.
