The XXXVI Congress of the Italian Association of Photobiology (SIFB) will take place in Brescia from 22 to 24 June 2026 and will be structured into several scientific sessions across three days.
On Monday 22 June, the programme begins with registration, the opening of the congress and the first scientific session, followed by a session on photosynthesis and biohybrid systems. On Tuesday 23 June, the programme continues with sessions dedicated to photodynamic therapy in cancer microenvironments, advanced photosensitizers and combination strategies, and photodermatology, including oral presentations, invited lectures and discussion sessions, as well as the young investigator award ceremony and the social dinner. On Wednesday 24 June, further sessions will focus on photosensitizer design, photodynamic strategies and One Health applications, concluding with closing remarks.
