A paper by Dr. Marco Cominelli and Profs Cerutti and Gringoli of the Department of Information Engineering won the Jean-Pierre Le Cadre Best Paper Award at the 26th International Conference on Information Fusion.
The paper provides an innovative method for activity recognition using WiFi receivers as passive radars. This is part of the NS-CEP project, coordinated by Prof Cerutti, and supported by the European Office of Aerospace Research & Development under award number FA8655-22-1-7017.
Dr. Cominelli also acknowledges financial support from the Window on Science (WOS) program, grant number 232068, for traveling to the conference and disseminating the results in seminars with Air Force Research Laboratory and Army Research Laboratory scientists and engineers.
