Prof. Roberto Ranzi (Deputy Rector for International Affairs) and Prof. Giovanni Plizzari (DICATAM), invited by Prof. Ali Abu Ganimeh (Principal of the Engineering Faculty of Jordan University), were received by the Governor of Petra, UNESCO site, and his staff on July the 24th. Interest has been expressed in involving the University of Brescia in studies for the safety of the archaeological site from a geological, geotechnical, hydraulic and structural point of view. In addition to deepening aspects relating to urban and architectural planning and the management of tourist flows.
