Department Governance Structures

Under the leadership of the Director, the Department’s Governing Bodies ensure the effective functioning of all Research, Teaching, and Third Mission activities, serving the interests of stakeholders and the wider community.

The Department’s management is guided by quality standards and is subject to internal and external audit processes in accordance with the AVA quality assurance system.

Article 5 of the Departmental Regulations defines the Director, the Departmental Council and the Executive Committee as the governing bodies of the Department.
