As part of the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program and the UNITA - Universitas Montium Alliance, the University of Brescia promotes and funds Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) mobility for students of the University of Brescia.
BIPs are intensive study programs that allow students to experience international mobility by combining a short physical mobility abroad (ranging from 5 to 30 days) with a mandatory virtual component.
The objectives of the BIPs are to:
- Offer students the opportunity to have an international experience as an alternative to long-term mobility, in an inclusive framework;
- Support the development of innovative learning and teaching methods;
- Stimulate the creation of transnational and multidisciplinary courses.
UNITA BIPs take place throughout the year, but there are typically 3 main periods, with corresponding application windows in the preceding months:
- Winter Window: BIP from November 1st to January 31st (applications May-June);
- Spring Window: BIP from February 1st to May 31st (applications November-December);
- Summer Window: BIP from June 1st to August 31st (applications February-March).
UNITA BIPs are usually suspended during September and October, although there may be some exceptions.
The list of UNITA BIP mobilities for which applications can be submitted is available on this page in the dedicated section and is updated periodically based on the opening windows of the Call for Applications.
