The Advisory Committee of the Joint Degree Course in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies is an advisory body designed to foster ongoing dialogue between the University and external stakeholders, with a view to ensuring that the curriculum is constantly updated in line with developments in the professional environment.
It comprises academic staff from the department and representatives from (public and private) organisations, businesses and professional bodies in the local area.
It fulfils the requirement – including regulatory obligations – to consult with organisations representing local production, services and professions, with particular reference to the assessment of training needs and career prospects.

The Advisory Committee comprises representatives from the main professional organisations and trade associations in the agricultural sector, professional bodies, local and regional public authorities, research bodies, and the business and chamber of commerce sectors, thereby ensuring comprehensive representation of the key institutional and professional bodies linked to the agri-food and environmental sectors.
ESTABLISHMENT AND MEETINGS
Establishment:
The Committee was established during the meeting to present the new Master’s Degree programme in Technologies for the Ecological Transition in Agriculture (TTEA, Class LM 69 Agricultural Sciences and Technologies) to the social partners, which was held on 26 July 2022.
