The Review Commission of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme

ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMISSION

The review process is a periodic and planned activity aimed at verifying the adequacy and effectiveness of how each Degree Programme is managed. It includes identifying the causes of any unsatisfactory outcomes in order to implement appropriate corrective and improvement actions.

The Review Commission of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme carries out this activity with the aim of highlighting:

  • strengths and weaknesses emerging from the analysis of performance data or from observed/reported issues within the educational path;
  • actions aimed at introducing corrective measures for the identified critical points or implementing improvements.

The review process therefore entails the development of the following three steps:

  1. Monitoring of the most significant data concerning the programme and its performance
  2. Planning of corrective or improvement actions
  3. Verification of the implementation and effectiveness of the actions taken
