ProQuest's platform, born from the fusion of EBL (Ebook Library) and Ebrary: it collects over one million titles from major international publishers, with multidisciplinary coverage. The subscription allows the entire catalogue to be queried. In order to access, the user always has to authenticate himself via EZproxy. Purchased titles can be read online and downloaded on digital loan. Other titles can be read online for 5 minutes and can be downloaded only if the digital loan request has been approved by the staff in charge. For offline desktop reading, Adobe Digital Editions or another compatible app has to be installed. All e-books, in PDF or ePub format, are protected by DRM. Print and copy and paste functions are subject to system limitations.
Ebook Central
Please note that digital purchases and short term loans via Ebook Central, which have so far been available upon direct request or suggestion from the user, will continue to be supported in this way until 30 June 2026. After that date, the publisher will switch to a "subscription" model, which involves the acquisition of predefined and no longer selectable e-book collections. Further information will be provided.
