The PhD Program in Analytics for Economics and Management has been established by the Department of Economics and Management.

Educational goals

The PhD program in Analytics for Economics and Management (AEM) aims at training high profile scientists and experts, able to apply analytical and computational tools to data to the goal of making complex decisions in Economics and Management. They will have advanced methodological foundations in: 
- Models and Methods for Economics and Finance
- Operations Research
- Statistics
with applications to several areas, such as Business, Energy, Environment, Finance, Logistics,  Sports.

Candidates must be strongly motivated, hold a five-year degree issued by an Italian University or an equivalent non-Italian degree.

Degrees in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering are among the most appropriate for this PhD program.

Entry requirements

The PhD Programme is a III level study programme open to holders of II level degrees (Master of Science degree or similar academic qualification awarded abroad and considered equivalent in terms of duration, level and field of study).

Upon conclusion of the educational and research prospectus, after passing the final exam, the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is awarded.
