Access to the University buildings

Every person in the university buildings must:

  1. when in common spaces, wear surgical masks or FFP2 devices for the protection of the respiratory tract. The use of FFP2 masks is particularly recommended for the staff in contact with the public in the absence of protective barriers; for the faculty and staff members sharing a room with colleagues, also with one single colleague (unless spaces allow good distancing); during in-person meetings; for those who share a room with a fragile colleague, in lifts and when crowding is inevitable;
  2. avoid crowding in the refreshment areas, and keep a safe distance from others while eating and drinking;
  3. often wash hands or use sanitising products;
  4. cover his or her mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, preferably using a handkerchief to avoid contact of hands with respiratory secretions;
  5. avoid sharing cups and bottles when drinking;
  6. avoid touching his or her eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed or unhygienised hands;
  7. wash indoor surfaces with chlorine or alcohol-based disinfectants;
  8. frequently ventilate his or her working premises.

Disinfectants with dispenser are provided at the entrance of the buildings as well as in common spaces, and are clearly signposted.

At the entrance of the buildings a desk is devoted to the distribution of masks to faculty and staff.

An adequate sanification is guaranteed, all through the working hours, of the spaces meant for the passage of suppliers or carriers and of the surfaces in the area.

Transportation services within the campus are carried out in the respect of the workers' safety.

The shared protocol regulations are extended also to contractor companies which should set up temporary building sites on the university's premises.

Persons in charge of teaching and research in laboratories and supervisors shall provide assistance to monitoring the workers' respect of the rules of hygiene and behaviour.

Mask wearing shall be in keeping with the World Health Organization's recommendations.

It is strongly recommended that students, suppliers and outsiders wear FFP2 masks.
