The project University Corridors for Refugees (UNI-CO-RE) is now at its eighth edition. The general aim of the project is to facilitate legal and safe entry in Italy of refugees based in

- Burkina Faso
- Cameroon
- Ethiopia
- India
- Kenya
- Mozambique
- Niger
- Nigeria
- South Africa
- Uganda
- Zambia
- Zimbabwe
and to encourage them in completing their studies in Italian universities. UNHCR and its partners are committed to expanding regular entry of refugees in host countries and to achieving enrollment of more than 15% of refugees in higher education.
Partner of UNICORE project are UNHCR, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Centro Astalli, and Ethical finance foundation.
The University of Brescia funds two grants for candidates aiming at enrolling in Corsi di laurea magistrale (postgraduate degrees) taught in English language: Civil and environmental engineering; Management (curriculum International business); Management (curriculum Green economy and sustainability).
