JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) publishes online videos which demonstrate laboratory experiment methods and scientific concepts, useful for research and teaching across various STEM disciplines (chemistry, biology, engineering, environment, medicine, etc.). The current subscription provides access to all the contents of the platform, totaling more than 14,000 videos: all sections of JoVE Journal (a peer-reviewed scientific video journal, indexed in PubMed and Web of Science, with Impact Factor), JoVE Encyclopedia of Experiments, JoVE Science Education, JoVE Core, JoVE Lab Manual and more. Via “Education” > “JoVE Science Education”, users can find the “Information Literacy” section. This section contains short videos created to help users set up a proper bibliographic search. Then, in the “Research” section, users can find the “JoVE Visualize” tool, which links explanatory videos to scientific articles, allowing users to visualize and better understand the notions of the written text.
