The Committee carries out periodic self-evaluation activities of the Department’s core functions, namely research, teaching, and third mission, in line with the guidelines issued by the University governing bodies, the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR), and ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System).
The Quality Assurance Committee reports on matters within its remit to the Department Council and to the Head of the Department.
The Committee is composed of three Coordinators, one of whom is appointed by the Head of the Department as Chair of the Committee, as well as two faculty members for research, two for teaching, and two for third mission activities.
