The Board carries out periodic self-assessment activities regarding the Department's core operations - namely research, teaching, and civic engagement - in alignment with the guidelines issued by the University bodies, the MUR (Ministry of University and Research), and ANVUR (National agency for the evaluation of universities and research).
The Departmental Quality Assurance Board reports to the Department Board and the Head of Department on all matters within its competence.
It is composed of the three Coordinators (from among whom the Head of Department appoints the Head of the Board), two faculty members for research, two for teaching, and two for civic engagement.
