Law Area

The Law study programs provide two types of internships: mandatory internships and optional internships. 

Internships are mandatory for:

  • The Bachelor's Degree in Labor Consultant and Business Lawyer (Triennial Degree);
  • The Master's Degree in Legal Sciences of Innovation - Curriculum I-Innovation Business and Third Sector (Master's Degree)

Internships are optional for:

  • The Master's Degree in Law (Single-Cycle Master's Degree)

Curricular internships can be completed both in Italy and abroad.

PRE-QUALIFICATION INTERNSHIPS

Pre-qualification internships are optional. These are:

  • The internship for qualification as a Lawyer. This internship is provided for the Law study program (Single-Cycle Master's Degree);
  • The internship for qualification as a Labor Consultant. This internship is provided for (i) the Bachelor's degree in Labor Consultant and Business Lawyer and (ii) the Law study program (Single-Cycle Master's Degree);
  • The internship for qualification as a Notary. This internship is provided for the Law study program (Single-Cycle Master's Degree).

In the training project, the educational objectives must indicate that it is an internship aimed at completing the professional training (PRE-QUALIFICATION INTERNSHIP).

To obtain recognition for the internship period as either a mandatory or optional internship, the student should refer to the Internship and Placement Unit (U.O.C. Tirocini e Placement).

Once admitted to the internship, before starting it, the student must follow the procedure for starting the internship through the Almalaurea portal.

INTERNAL INTERNSHIPS

It is possible to carry out an internal internship at the Department or University (in offices or laboratories, observatories, study centers, General Directorate, and U.O.C. Administration, etc.), following the proposal of a university professor and agreeing on the contents of the project with the proposing professor.

It is possible to request the forms for the activation of an internal internship by sending a message to the internship office via the student info system.

Law Internship Commision
The Law Internship Commision is responsible for evaluating requests for equivalency and exemption (for serious health reasons).

The commision is composed of:
