From the 17th to 21st of April, the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering hosted a group of 6 students from Hof University (Germany) within the I2P2 project financed with DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) funds. Through joint, intercultural and interdisciplinary learning, the I2P2 project aims to prepare students in the best possible way to work in a globally interconnected world. This year, the topic addressed by the students was the development of products in the fields of hydroponics and "vertical gardening". The startups "MyRiadGarden" and "Life Panel" took part in the workshops, and a visit to the Franplast headquarters in Franciacorta was organised. The visit was coordinated by prof. Silvia Agnelli and Stefano Pandini of DIMI, and by prof. from Hof University, Mirko Rennert and Anke Müller.
