The Graphic, Survey and Documentation Laboratory (GRiD Lab) (formerly the Graphic Survey and Representation Laboratory) was founded in 1990 to support the teaching, research and contracting activities of the Department of Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics (DICATAM) of the University of Brescia.
The activity of the structure is characterised by a strong interdisciplinary character and aims at understanding and documenting the physical space, from the architectural scale to the urban and environmental scale, through the tools of surveying and representation.
Activities
- Computer graphics processing;
- Photographic documentation of experimental trials;
- Traditional mensural surveying;
- Photogrammetric surveys in the fields of town planning, land use, architecture and agriculture;
- Creation of digital terrain and surface models (DTM and DSM);
- Realisation of orthophotoplans of buildings of historical-architectural importance;
- Realisation of three-dimensional architectural and territorial models;
- Organisation and management of geographical databases in the field of GIS (Geographical Information System).

- Support for the regular teaching activities of DICATAM;

- Support for external training;
- Design and production of graphic and promotional material for DICATAM activities;
- Topographic surveys with total stations and photogrammetric surveys with APR;
- Lending of instruments to internal staff.

Per la richiesta di prestito occasionale della strumentazione è necessario presentare l'apposito modulo debitamente compilato.
