Management of bibliographic citations
The University Library System provides institutional users with some programs for the web management of bibliographic citations (RefWorks and EndNote Online), which allow users to:
- create and organize their personal bibliographic database;
- import bibliographic references from online databases and catalogues, extract them from text files or enter them manually;
- format bibliographic references by choosing from different citation styles;
- include bibliographic references into text files while writing.
RefWorks
RefWorks requires personal registration, which can be made on the login page (see the link below). Users must create a new account by providing their institutional e-mail address and choosing a password.
EndNote Online
Users can register on EndNote Online (the desktop version is not available) from the login page (see link below), or from the Web of Science database by clicking on the EndNote link. Users must create a personal account, providing their institutional e-mail and choosing a password. People who already have a personal registration to Web of Science can use EndNote Online without having to create another account.
To keep the account correctly associated to the institutional licence, users must log in at least once every 12 months by connecting to the University network (or through proxy/VPN).
