The degree programme involves two roles: the Academic Tutor and the Tutor Lecturer.
Academic Tutor: A lecturer to whom individual students may turn for guidance and advice regarding their academic career. All lecturers and researchers on the degree programme are required to make themselves available to fulfil the duties of a tutor.
Lecturer-Tutor: A lecturer or member of staff with recognised qualifications in the specific field of study, to whom a small number of students are assigned for the ‘departmental’ and ‘professional placement’ teaching activities set out in the Study Plan.
The tutor is required to coordinate their duties with the teaching activities of the courses that share the same educational objectives and may also be involved in preparing materials for use in tutorial sessions.
