The Department Executive Committee, as established by Article 8 of the Department Regulation, is composed of the Head of Department, who chairs it, and six members elected by the Department Council from among full professors, associate professors, and researchers, ensuring an equal number of members from each category.
Each category elects its own representatives by expressing a single preference. The Head of Department is excluded from the count for the purpose of category parity.
The members of the Executive Committee cease their mandate upon the end of the Head’s term but may be re-elected.

The Deputy Head of Department, the Presidents of the Degree Program Councils, and the Coordinators of teaching, research, and third mission activities may participate in the meetings of the Executive Committee upon invitation by the Head, without voting rights.
