“Uno su cento” offers fourth- and fifth-year upper secondary school students the opportunity to experience university life first-hand through a two-day orientation programme held at our campuses.

If you are among the selected students, you will be able to take part, with the support of lecturers and student tutors, in university lectures, guided tours of University facilities, meetings with professionals, admission test simulations, orientation seminars, and other group activities.

The programmes take place during two different periods:

• October or November for fifth-year classes;
• March for fourth-year classes;

and cover the following subject areas: Economics, Law, Engineering, Medicine (including Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Healthcare Professions, Biotechnology and Sports and Exercise Sciences), Pharmacy, and Agricultural Sciences. You can choose only one of these areas.

Please note: due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the initiative is currently suspended.

• Students attending the fourth or fifth year of upper secondary school who have achieved an average grade of 7 or higher during the first three or four years of study are eligible to participate.
• Up to 30 students will be selected for each subject area (15 for Pharmacy and Agricultural Sciences).

• To participate, you must complete an application form providing your personal details, the chosen subject area, the average grades obtained in your 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of study (if you are enrolled in the fourth year), or in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of study (if you are enrolled in the fifth year), and include a self-presentation letter in the dedicated section.
• You and your school will subsequently be informed by email whether you have been selected, and you will be required to confirm your participation.
• Your reference teacher will be asked to confirm the average grade you declared in the application form.

Participation in the initiative is free of charge, including lunches and transfers between the locations included in the programme. Participants are responsible for any travel expenses incurred to reach the University and return to their places of residence.

Activities will generally take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with mandatory attendance, according to the programme that will be provided to participants.

Participants must be covered by their school’s insurance policy valid for educational activities.

Students taking part in “Uno su cento” will receive a certificate of participation indicating the number of hours completed.
