The Medicine Faculty site is part of the university campus in Mompiano and it occupies a large area from the Ospedale Civile to Via Valotti, and from Viale Europa to Corso del Garza.

The first buildings were built in the late 1960s and completed in 1970 to a design by engineer Dotti and architect Dabbeni.

Between 2005 and 2008 two important facilities were added: a multipurpose sports centre of 5,000 square meters on three levels (E17) for the bachelor's degree course in Exercise and Sport Science and a multipurpose building (E15) for teaching and research needs for the courses of Medicine and Surgery and Health Professions. The latter has 7,000 square meters that include reception, study rooms, teaching spaces, laboratories and a lecture hall with 280 seats.

To date the Faculty of Medicine is composed by four buildings: E14 Faculty of Medicine and Surgery Building, E15 Multipurpose Building, E16 Health Professions Building, and E17 Sports Science Building.
