Online help desk: I’m a student at UNIBS, how do I activate a video call?

1. BOOK THE APPOINTMENT:

  • Use your university credentials  [email protected]
  • Choose the office you want to book an appointment with
  • Select BOOK for the service you need
  • Choose the most suitable day and time from those available
  • In the description, enter your name and surname, student number and reason for the appointment (obligatory)

Once the booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email, and the appointment will be entered on the Google calendar.

You will also find the link and instructions for accessing the online help Desk in the confirmation email.

If you wish to cancel, go to the appointment on the Google calendar and cancel it, or open the appointment confirmation email and click the NO button.

2. LINKING UP FOR THE VIDEO CALL

If you have already downloaded Teams on your Pc/telephone, and you have logged in with your UNIBS credentials, go straight to point 3

  • Log in to www.office.com using your university credentials [email protected];
     
  • If you are having trouble logging in, go to www.unibs.it, log in as a student then change the password. 
    If you are having password problems with Teams, GO TO  
    https://www.unibs.it and change the password if the password was set more than 3 months ago.
     
  • Once you have logged into www.office.com, download the Microsoft Teams app and instal it on your computer.
    If you can, it is also useful to instal Teams on your smartphone.

3. HOW TO ENTER THE VIDEO CALL

  • On the day of the appointment, log into Teams by clicking on the link in the booking confirmation mail and ask to take part.
    The member of staff will ONLY accept your request if you have booked first.

     
  • Once in the online desk, wait for the staff member to call.
