Emeritus and Honorary Professors

The University of Brescia proposes to the competent bodies the conferment of the title of:

• "Emeritus Professor" to retired full professors who have provided at least twenty years of service in the role, at least half of which at this University;
• "Honorary Professor" to retired full professors who have provided at least fifteen years of service in the role.

The aforesaid titles are awarded by appraising:

1. the teaching activity, in terms of quality and number of years of teaching;
2. institutional activity, i.e. having held institutional roles in the University;
3. scientific activity, i.e. scientific production, the direction of series or scientific journals of national or international importance, positions of responsibility in scientific bodies, high-level dissemination and cultural promotion activities, also at international level.
