QUALITY ASSURANCE OF DEPARTMENT
The Department has adopted aninternal quality assurance system, which involves carrying out periodic self-assessments of the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of its research, teaching and third-mission activities in accordance with the guidelines and procedures laid down by ANVUR and the University Quality Committee, through the Departmental Quality Committee, which oversees the proper functioning of the Department’s quality assurance system and assists the University Quality Committee.
The Departmental Quality Committee is composed of the three Coordinators referred to in Article 23, paragraph 9, of the Statute, from among whom the Director appoints the Head of the body, comprising two academic staff members for research, two for teaching and two for the third mission, and is supported by administrative staff for procedural tasks.
