More than 220 e-books from McGraw-Hill are available, including a number of core manuals; texts can be accessed online in HTML from navigable summaries and individual chapters can be printed or sent by e-mail. In order to access certain resources and functionalities on the platform, users have to make a personal registration.

Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy

Resource developed by Dr. Robert Acland and his team at the University of Louisville Medical School. It offers access to over 300 videos about 3D rotational macro-anatomy, distributed over five modules (The Upper Extremity, The Lower Extremity, The Trunk, The Head and Neck, The Internal Organs). The platform also features an interactive quiz section and can be accessed both via computer and mobile devices.

Database produced by Bureau van Dijk (now in Moody's), which collects economic and financial information on local public entities in Italy (Municipalities, Provincial Administrations, Mountain Communities): final accounts certificates in historical series since 2000 classified both on an accrual and cash basis, economic accounts and asset accounts in historical series since 2007, local authorities' shareholdings in local public service companies or other corporations, more than one hundred indicators (autonomy, efficiency, profitability, incidence, financial independence, leverage and structure), ISTAT coding, resident population numbers, household composition. The integrated software allows analysis, comparison and export of the data.

Collection that includes electronic versions of volumes published by the publisher Giappichelli. To access the digital lending, users must request an OTP code that will be sent by e-mail, valid for individual titles. It is compiled by Cochrane, an international non-profit organisation, and published by Wiley. Access to approximately 1,000 monographs published by il Mulino since 2000 (the current subscription does not include volumes published by Carocci), divided into disciplinary collections: History, Philosophy, Linguistics, Literary criticism, Political science, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Law. The volumes, navigable from the table of contents, have to be consulted online. The text is in DocBook format, with a different layout from the printed edition, but the corresponding page numbers are always indicated on the side. The copy and paste function can be used. After registering, the user can print individual chapters or download them in ePub format (DRM-free) either on a PC or on a tablet or smartphone; for the reading on a PC, the installation of Adobe Digital Editions or similar software is recommended.

ProQuest's platform, born from the fusion of EBL (Ebook Library) and Ebrary: it collects over one million titles from major international publishers, with multidisciplinary coverage. The subscription allows the entire catalogue to be queried. In order to access, the user always has to authenticate himself via EZproxy. Purchased titles can be read online and downloaded on digital loan. Other titles can be read online for 5 minutes and can be downloaded only if the digital loan request has been approved by the staff in charge. For offline desktop reading, Adobe Digital Editions or another compatible app has to be installed. All e-books, in PDF or ePub format, are protected by DRM. Print and copy and paste functions are subject to system limitations.

Subscription access to EBSCO's multi-disciplinary collection, which includes approximately 200,000 titles of academic interest, published by leading international publishers. ESSPER

An open-access bibliographic database created from the review of over 1,000 Italian journals in economics, law, social sciences and history (from which the ESSPER acronym is derived). Several libraries participate in the project, coordinated by the “Mario Rostoni” Library of LIUC (“Carlo Cattaneo” University of Castellanza). So far, bibliographic references for over 870,000 articles have been collected.

Professional platform which aggregates economic and financial data from around the world, integrating tools for analysis, comparison and export. The subscribed licence allows access to the FactSet Academic Package, designed for universities. To start using FactSet, the user must request the creation of a personal account. The resource is available in two modes: FactSet Web, which can be accessed online using personal university credentials (by authenticating on a specific page for our university) or the personal credentials issued by FactSet (by authenticating on the general resource page), and FactSet Workstation (with FactSet Office Add-in), accessible on enabled PCs at the Economics and Law Library and at the Engineering Library, by asking the staff (installation of the software on personal PCs is reserved for certain categories of users).

LLMC (Law Library Microform Consortium) is a non-profit organisation composed of libraries with the aim of microfiche conversion and preservation. It also provides a large bibliographic collection of legal texts and government documents related to the United States, Canada and other countries. The collection is accessible online for member institutions through the LLMC Digital service. It currently includes over 130,500 volumes, and mainly consists of public domain materials.

The Gale publisher's database (Cengage), created from the digitisation of some large collections in the field of economic history, in particular the Goldsmiths' Library of Economic Literature (University of London) and the Kress Library of Business and Economics (Harvard University). It contains more than 62,400 full-text titles including books, periodicals, pamphlets, essays, etc., mainly published in the UK and the USA between the 15th and 20th centuries; significant works of economic thought, sources and rare texts are included.
