The Department adopts an Internal Quality Assurance System. It carries out periodic self-assessment of the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of research, teaching, and civic engagement activities. Such an activity complies with the indications and procedures provided by the ANVUR and the University Quality Presidium. The Department Quality Presidium oversees the proper functioning of the Department Quality Assurance System and assists the University Quality Presidium.
QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE
The Department Quality Assurance Office oversees the proper functioning of the Department's Quality Assurance System and supports the University Quality Assurance Office. The Quality Assurance Office reports annually to the Council on the status and outcomes of the quality assurance system for teaching, research, and third mission (civic engagement), in accordance with the ANVUR guidelines and the University Quality Assurance System regulations.
The Department Quality Assurance Office is composed of three Coordinators (for teaching, research, and third mission), from among whom the head of the department appoints the head of the organization, two professors for research, two professors for teaching, and two professors for third mission (civic engagement), and is supported by administrative staff for procedural activities.
