The Erasmus + Program allows teaching, researcher, technical and administrative staff to carry out a period of teaching (STA) or training (STT) at a partner University (see attached list).
Teaching staff mobility (STA)
The University promotes the international mobility of teaching staff at a partner University
The categories of teaching staff admitted to STA mobility are:
- full professors
- associate professors;
- university researchers;
- contract professors.
STA flows are financed by the INDIRE National Agency.
The Erasmus grant is a contribution to the costs incurred for mobility, the amount of which is established annually by the INDIRE National Agency.
The contribution is intended to cover travel costs (including travel insurance and visa, if required) and living costs (food, accommodation, urban transport) in the host country and is assigned exclusively to carry out teaching activities abroad.
Some conditions apply:
- minimum duration of the mobility is 2 days (exlcuding travel)
- maxim duration of the mobility is 2 months;
- at least 8 hours of teaching activities must be carried out for every week of funded mobility (or shorter period)
The number and duration of mobilities is set out every year in the call for applications.
Training staff mobility (STT)
This activity supports the professional development of teaching and technical-administrative staff of higher education institutions in the form of training events abroad (staff weeks, training courses - excluding conferences) and job shadowing periods at a partner higher education institution.
The number and duration of funded mobilities is set out every year in the call for applications.
The training activities must be consistent with the participant's job at the home institution.
