The Disciplinary Board carries out the preliminary inquiries in disciplinary proceedings and gives a final opinion on them, operating according to the principle of peer judgement, procedure in which both parties are heard. The Board is appointed by the Academic Senate and remains in office until the Senate nominating it expires.
