esame orale

If you are a student with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) pursuant to L. 170/2010, for oral exams, you can request aids that are consistent with the certificate you provided.

If you have not yet submitted your diagnosis, please read the instructions at the following link:

Possible Aids – Oral exams

(The aids have the purpose of allowing the student with SLD to carry out the exams with some precautions and to follow the lessons calmly).

Examples of Dispensary Measures for Oral Exams are:

  • Scheduled oral exams; (university exams are already structured and scheduled on pre-established dates to which the student can decide whether to enroll).
  • When possible, replacement of an oral exam with a written exam (this depends on the structure of the single exam, it must be evaluated case by case).
  • Subdivision of the exam into more parts (only if it is considered a valid option by the teaching professor).
  • Evaluation of the contents rather than of the expressive form, considering possible slight errors of phonetic correspondence and lexical access.
  • Have more time to answer during the oral exam considering slight latency times in the answers.

Compensatory Instruments – Oral exams

(They are all instruments, digital or otherwise, that a person with SLD can use to overcome their difficulties in writing, reading and calculating both in individual study and during exams).

Examples of Compensatory Instruments for Oral Exams are:

  • Non-scientific calculator (in case of Dyscalculia or in case of difficulty with numbers).
  • Concept maps, Tables of Contents, Forms if indicated in the Certification (these tools have to be checked and approved by the teaching professor before the exam, therefore they have to be attached to an email to [email protected] to be sent at least 10 business days before the exam, so that the office can forward it). The forms, if allowed by the teacher, once agreed with the teachers should also be sent at the same time to [email protected]. To prepare the Concept Maps you can use SuperMappeX
