ANATOMICAL FACILITY
The Anatomical Facility is a training area that has been active since 2001 and was completely renovated in 2018 with state‑of‑the‑art technological equipment. It hosts the following activities:

Practical anatomy classes and training sessions primarily addressed to students enrolled in the Degree Programs in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, as well as to physicians attending Specialization Schools.
Courses in Dissection, Surgical Anatomy, and Endoscopic Anatomy.
Research activities in the field of macroscopic anatomy.

The Anatomical Facility includes two dissection rooms, a macroscopic and microscopic anatomy classroom, a preparation service room, a storage room, and a changing room.
The first anatomy room is equipped with seven dissection tables, while the second room is fitted with five ventilated workstations. In both rooms, each table or workstation is provided with a ceiling-mounted surgical light. Additional equipment includes electric suction devices, vacuum and compressed air systems, two video recording and closed‑circuit monitor projection systems, and a fully equipped 4K endoscopy station.
The Macroscopic and Microscopic Anatomy classroom is equipped with osteological specimens, anatomical models including plastinated specimens, microscopes, a video projection system, and an ANATOMAGE anatomical table for virtual anatomy.
The Anatomical Facility also hosts the post‑mortem body donation program for educational and research purposes.

REFERENCE CENTER FOR THE PRESERVATION AND USE OF DECEASED BODIES
Within the “Luigi Fabrizio Rodella” Anatomical Facility, the Reference Center for the Preservation and Use of Deceased Bodies is active. The Center is certified in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
