General Director

The General Director of the University of Brescia is Dr Monica Bonfardini.

She has overall responsibility for the management and organisation of the University's services, instrumental resources and technical-administrative staff, and is selected from among professionals with high qualifications and proven experience in management positions.

The General Director is appointed by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Rector and after obtaining the opinion of the Academic Senate and has a fixed-term contract of employment under private law, renewable by a procedure similar to appointment.

The General Director participates, without the right to vote, in the meetings of the Board of Directors and of the Academic Senate and heads the public sector delegation for decentralised negotiations. The composition of the delegation is decided by the Board of Directors on a proposal from the Director General.
