Desk delivery
The desk delivery service, reserved exclusively for professors, researchers, PhD students and grant holders of the University of Brescia, allows these users to receive documents and copies of documents (specified below) owned by the university libraries or obtained through interlibrary services in their office, at their department.
The material is delivered by the libraries, generally within 24 hours, via internal post or through student coworkers.
BOOKS
Books must be requested directly from the catalogue (OPAC), following the normal loan procedure, indicating the delivery address in the notes field. Material reserved for internal consultation only is excluded from this service. Each user may request up to 3 books per day to be delivered to their desk.
With regard to the number and duration of loans, extensions, etc., the conditions set out for category A1 and reported in the Service regulations_ITA and in the Service Charter_ITA remain valid.
Volumes can be returned via internal post.
Desk delivery can also be made for books requested through interlibrary loan.
ARTICLES
Requests for copies of articles from journals owned by our libraries must be submitted to the library concerned, using the form available below. A maximum of 5 requests are allowed at a time.
Reproductions are provided in paper format and in compliance with copyright law (for personal use, within the limits of 15% of the entire volume or journal issue).
Desk delivery can also be made for material requested through the document delivery service.
UNI STANDARDS (NORME UNI) AND OTHER TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
To request a copy of UNI standards (Norme UNI) or other technical regulations, please fill in the specific form, available below. The service is managed by the Engineering Library ([email protected]), but is available to all professors, researchers, PhD students and grant holders affiliated with the University of Brescia.
The reproductions provided are exclusively for internal use, related to research and teaching.
Professors and researchers, PTA staff, PhD students, specializing students, grant holders and scholarship holders can also request, by writing to [email protected], the creation of a personal account in order to independently access the UNI database (UNI standards and, if adopted, EN and ISO standards) in consultation-only or consultation and download mode.
