Language assessment test

In order to be assigned to a destination, all candidates that will pass the selection of the Erasmus+ 2023/24 call will be tested in the languages spoken in the countries of preference: English, French, Spanish, German. For minor European languages, only English will be tested.

Participation in the tests is mandatory for assigning the destination for Erasmus+ mobility, even for those who already have a language certificate.  In case the result of the test is lower than the certified level, the higher level will be taken into account.
The tests are based on an "adaptive" methodology: the test is progressive, it determines the questions based on the student's answers, to gradually adapt the measurement of their language skills.
The result will therefore not be passed/failed but it will indicate the proficiency according to the CEFR: from A1 (minimum) to C2 (maximum).
The test is online and it consists of 4 parts: grammar, vocabulary, written comprehension and oral comprehension.
The questions are both multiple choice and open answer.

The test will last 50 minutes, beginning and end time will be communicated at the beginning of each test session.
