
NEW REGULATION ON STUDENT CONTRIBUTION APPROVED
The Board of Directors of our University has approved the new Regulations on Student Contribution for the academic year 2024/2025, confirming the no-tax area for ISEE up to € 24000.
SINGLE COURSES FEES
Students from developing countries or from low- and middle-income countries, in accordance with art. 8, par. 2, in the absence of an ISEE certificate, will be charged the amount of € 25.00 / CFU, in addition to the application fee of € 25.00 and stamp duty.
The contribution for enrolment in single courses is not due, up to a maximum of 24 CFU per academic year, for students enrolled in a degree or master's degree course at the University of Brescia within the ordinary course duration, provided that they are up to date with their university contribution. The application fee and stamp duty remain due.
Those who enrol in a Master's degree course at the University of Brescia in the academic year 2025/2026, and who do not fall into the category described in the previous paragraph, are entitled to a reduction, up to the amount paid, for enrolment in the single courses that are recognised for admission to the course or for career abbreviation. The reduction must be requested by the student by 30 November 2025 and may not, in any case, exceed the amount of university contribution due by the student for the degree course.
EXEMPTION FROM CONTRIBUTIONS
The following students are exempt from paying university fees and consequently only pay the regional tax for the right to study, stamp duty and the admission fee for the degree course, where applicable
- the sons and daughters of recipients of an inability pension pursuant to art. 30 of Law 118/71
- students enrolled for the first time in the third year of the courses in Product and Process Industrial Techniques and Building Techniques
- employees of the University of Brescia enrolled in the first year, enrolled in subsequent years who have obtained at least 20 credits in the period specified in art. 4 or enrolled part-time in years subsequent to the first year who have obtained at least 10 credits in the period specified in art. 4.
The exemption must be requested by the student by the due date of the second instalment.
FEE REDUCTIONS
For students who are at least 60 years of age at the time of enrolment or renewal of enrolment, who are enrolled in their first year, enrolled in subsequent years and have obtained at least 20 credits in the period specified in art. 4, or enrolled part-time in years subsequent to the first year and have obtained at least 10 credits in the period specified in art. 4, there is a 30% reduction in the a.y. contribution (excluding the regional fee for the right to study, stamp duty and the degree course admission fee, where applicable).
The exemption must be requested by the student by the due date of the second instalment.
For members of the Guardia di Finanza Corps, in service or on leave, and their children, who are enrolled in the first year, enrolled in subsequent years who have obtained at least 20 credits in the period specified in art. 4, or enrolled part-time in years subsequent to the first year who have obtained at least 10 credits in the period specified in art. 4, there is a 30% reduction in the a.y. contribution (excluding the regional tax for the right to study, stamp duty and the admission fee to the degree course, where applicable).
The exemption must be requested by the student by the due date of the second instalment.
For public employees enrolled within the 'PA 110 e lode' project, the contribution provided for in Article 4 is due, not including the € 330 exemption provided by the Memorandum of Understanding; within the limit of the amount paid for enrolment, a partial refund is provided, in accordance with the requirements and terms set out in the Memorandum of Understanding; the refund is made in relation to the disbursement of ministerial funds.
SPLITTING THE SECOND AND THIRD INSTALMENTS
It is possible to split the second and third instalments into three further instalments each, provided that the instalment plan ends by 31 July 2026. The minimum amount of the original instalment must be at least € 200,00.
FEES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED AT THE REQUEST OF THE INDIVIDUAL STUDENT
Contribution for late application (e.g. renewal of enrolment, submission of study plan): € 50,00.
APPLICATION FEES FOR ADMISSION TESTS AND FEES FOR ADMISSION TO BACHELOR AND SINGLE-CYCLE MASTER DEGREE COURSES
Application fee, for courses with national programmed access defined by the Ministry of University and Research and for courses with a test organised by the University of Brescia: € 55,00 at the time of application, unless otherwise specified by the Ministry;
Admission fee, in the lack of a valid TOLC, at the time of enrolment, for admission to open-access degree courses: € 35,00, in addition to the course enrolment fee
First installment: by October 15, 2025
Second installment: by January 15, 2026
Third installment: by May 31, 2026
Do you want to apply for a reduction in contribution?
You can apply for a contribution reduction from the maximum amount if you submit between January 1, 2025 and by November 30, 2025 an ISEE statement up to 70000 euros, valid for subsidized benefits for the right to university study.
